"We were delighted with the success of this, our first such web-cast", commented Peter Yip, CEO of chinadotcom. "We recognize that being based in Asia, we are perhaps less visible to many of our investors from around the world than our American and European counterparts. We wanted to use this web-cast as an opportunity of showing the great importance we place on keeping our shareholders informed about our business as it develops. It was also an excellent opportunity to answer directly many of the questions which shareholders currently have about our business".
All questions from investors that were not answered in the web-cast will be responded to shortly via email. A full transcript of the webcast as well as the Q & A's will be posted on the company's web-site at www.corp.china.com later in the week.
