Matthew Bieber | CEO
A longtime technology executive, Matthew Bieber holds ultimate responsibility for CDC’s strategic direction, operations and financial performance.
Bieber was named CDC’s CEO in 2015. Prior to joining the company, he served as Division Executive for Contact Center Services at Computer Aid, Inc., a global IT services and outsourcing firm operating throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Bieber’s rich industry experience includes a seven year stint as President of Cloud/SaaS Technology Services at Teleperformance, the largest global Business Process Outsourcer (BPO), and two decades in leadership roles at AT&T.
Bieber has served as an adjunct professor at DeSales University and Bloomsburg University. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group.
Bieber holds an MBA from Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics, and a BBA in Marketing from Penn State University.
Tim Chapin | Founder & CTO
A senior level system architect and software developer with over 20 years of experience, Tim Chapin is the driving force behind CDC’s technology platform and roadmap.
Chapin founded CDC in 2010 in response to increasing market demand for reliable, flexible telephony-CRM integration solutions. In the years since, he has directed efforts to expand the CDC solution’s feature set and capabilities, while maintaining strict requirements for ease of deployment and lifetime cost of ownership.
Under Chapin’s leadership, CDC has developed out-of-the-box integration capabilities with Zendesk, Freshdesk and leading telephony systems from Cisco, Avaya, Digium, Vonage Business, inContact, Broadsoft, Mitel and several others. Connectors are planned for other top CRM systems, including Desk.com, Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, as well as numerous telephony platforms.
Prior to founding CDC, Chapin served as Senior Principal at eLoyalty, where he was responsible for the design and delivery of a core call recording solution. He was a member of the Avaya advanced architecture team responsible for the design and deployment of enterprise-wide telecom systems for the company’s largest clients. Chapin has also designed and implemented telephony system and CTI architectures for utilities, national hotel chains, banks and more.
Chapin holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Bloomsburg University and an Associate’s in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
Kurt Brink | Head of Software Architecture
As the Head of Software Architecture, Kurt Brink brings a wealth of knowledge as a solution architect and software engineer with over 30 years of experience. He is responsible for the design and implementation of CDC’s technology architecture and infrastructure.
Brink joined CDC in 2013 and created CDC’s core architecture and integration engine. This architecture is the foundation of CDC’s platform and has enabled rapid support of numerous telephony and CRM systems, advanced product features, and unique customer requirements. Since 2013, Brink’s keen focus on providing highly reliable, efficient, and extensible solutions has propelled CDC’s product forward at a breakneck pace. He continues to guide CDC’s platform evolution with emphasis on constant product improvement, manageability, total cost of ownership, and customer satisfaction.
Brink has inspired and lead development teams throughout his extensive professional career at companies such as AT&T, IMI Systems, and Prudential. His drive and passion to build innovative solutions were recognized and positioned him to present products and technologies at the Consumer Electronics Show, Philly.Net Code Camp, AT&T’s Product Integration Center and other venues. He was awarded IMI System’s Presidential Award for his dedication and consulting achievements. Brink has always been a strong advocate of teamwork and mutual respect with a goal of implementing advanced solutions that exceed business requirements.
Brink has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bloomsburg University.
