chinadotcom corporation's hongkong.com Presents "James Bond 007" Feature

Strengthens Hong Kong Web Community's Link to International Entertainment

Hong Kong, December 21, 1999 — chinadotcom corporation (NASDAQ: CHINA) today announced a new Internet entertainment feature called "James Bond 007" on its Hong Kong portal. The new feature, found at www.hongkong.com/007, is a series of interactive games based on the latest James Bond movie, The World Is Not Enough.

The games provide viewers with the opportunity to win prizes by participation in a series of James Bond stunts on the Internet. Such stunts include "safety landing," "speed boats," "puzzle" and "ice-skiing."

The ultimate winner who complete these difficult tasks will receive prizes actually featured in the movie. They include a Seamaster watch, a special edition BMW Z8 model car, Calvin Klein sun glasses, a Caterpillar fleece jacket, and other prizes, including a Club Med package to Phuket.

Commenting on the new entertainment features at hongkong.com, Ms. Vicky Hung, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Product Development of chinadotcom corporation, said, "We put a heavy emphasis on building web communities throughout Asia. We see movie-based features as a great way to foster web interest in Hong Kong and in international entertainment."
