Hong Kong, December 10, 1999 — chinadotcom corporation [NASDAQ: CHINA] announced today that Mr. Peter Hamilton, Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Ian Henry, President, International, have been named "Young Entrepreneurs of the Year" at the 1999 DHL Worldwide Express / South China Morning Post Business Awards.

Mr. Peter Yip, Chief Executive Officer, said, "We are very proud of Peter and Ian. Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Henry were co-founders of the Web Connection in March 1995, which is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of chinadotcom corporation.

Both Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Henry were instrumental in taking chinadotcom corporation through its initial public offering in July 1999, at which time they held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Strategy, respectively.
