CDC Software Strategic Cloud Investment Partner Program
CDC Software formed its Strategic Cloud Investment Partner Program (SCIPP) in 2010, under which it plans to make minority investments in, and form strategic reselling partnerships with, companies offering cloud-based or point solutions that complement CDC Software's enterprise solutions portfolio.
SCIPP Partners
Under SCIPP, CDC Software has agreed to make a strategic investment in Marketbright, an on-demand software-as-as-service (SaaS) marketing automation company. In addition, CDC Software has agreed to develop a strategic relationship with Marketbright whereby both companies are expected to resell each other's solutions and potentially expand the relationship into other strategic activities. As part of the strategic relationship, CDC Software is expected to serve as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), reseller or referral partner for Marketbright's SaaS marketing automation solutions in the U.S., Canada, EMEA, Asia/Pacific and the rest of world. In turn, Marketbright is expected to serve as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), reseller or referral partner for CDC Pivotal CRM solutions in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, Marketbright plans to develop an integration tool for Pivotal CRM.
Marketbright's suite of SaaS applications includes campaign management, e-mail marketing, event management, social networking, landing page creation, lead scoring, lead nurturing, and membership management. Marketbright enables more than 20,000 users at companies such as TELUS, Genesys, Plantronics, Serena Software, Varonis and to make contact, manage leads and convert prospects to customers.
Under SCIPP, CDC Software has made a strategic investment in eBizNET Solutions Inc., a leading provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) supply chain execution solutions that also shares mutual customers with CDC Software. In addition to the strategic investment, CDC Software also plans a strategic relationship with Pittsburgh-based eBizNET Solutions whereby CDC Software is expected to become a cobranded reseller of eBizNET's products and services globally. As part of strategic relationship, eBizNet Solutions and CDC Software plan to jointly offer an integrated solution of eBizNet and CDC Software's solutions including CDC eCommerce and x-Alerts to potential customers of both companies.
