Corporate Treasurer

Ideal candidate has to carry out efficient and cost effective treasury, credit and cash management functions across the group. The duties of the candidate include:

  • Working with the management team to develop and improve the group's investment strategies and increase group net profit by performing effective treasury management.
  • Maintain relationship with banks and financial institutions to liaise for banking facilities to enhance yield for the group's funds.
  • To liaise with the banks to improve banking and payment support services, negotiate bank charges and interest payment to minimize the cost for group.
  • To take key role in formulating policies and procedures in treasury operations.
  • Working with the management team and make recommendations for potential investment opportunities including execution of transactions in debt and capital markets.
  • Cash flow management and forecast for the group.
  • Assist the subsidiaries in the variance analysis of their cash flow forecasting submitted to Group Treasury. Monitor the accounts receivables of the group including policies setting and implementation.

  • To monitor group funding positions, perform cash management and cash flow forecast of the company.
  • To perform FX risk management and effective foreign exchange management
  • To handle, from time to time, special treasury-related assignments

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
  • Professionally qualified in CFA/HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
  • 10 to 15 years experience in treasury management in multinational corporate, China experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skill required
  • Good understanding of financial markets operations, financial instruments, and products (include derivative product) knowledge.
  • Well versed in computerized accounting system.
  • High level of self-motivation, well organized and able to work with people at all levels.
