Business Development Manager
Location: Portland, OR
Summary of Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the role is to enable, drive and elevate market share within a specified territory. While working closely (mentoring and developing when appropriate) with recruiters, the sales team will focus on market/territory planning, client relationship development, and customer service.
Essential Functions:
- Acquire, maintain, and increase IT staffing business within defined territory
- Work with corporate team to develop territory or account plan - including definition, strategy, targeted contacts, competitive intelligence, trends, and goals
- Create a prospecting or marketing plan utilizing – continuous effort prioritization, lead development and management, call management, and appointment setting
- Qualifying customer and business opportunities through – customer evaluations, placement forecasting, and research/interviews
- Build and maintain client relationships within specified account(s)
- Working on a professional and personal level to deepen relationships – appointment setting, increasing business commitments, networking at IT events, facilitated events, entertainment, social outings, client appreciate events, etc
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and contractors
- Leveraging our quality management program (EQM) and customer feedback and follow through ettain group strives for the highest customer service
- Provide customer feedback and surveys
- Work with recruiting team to support contractors
- Provide leadership and expertise to resource specialist and recruiters
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years in the recruiting and staffing industry (or equivalent sales experience)
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully obtain and maintain clients
- Proven understanding of the IT staffing business
- Proven experience in a team environment
- Experience achieving individual business growth goals
