Warehouse Automation
To get the most out of your warehouse management solution you need to operate in real-time with directed tasks and instructions to warehouse staff as well as material handling equipment. With no delays in propagating tasks or responding to requests and updates we provide solutions for RF-based handheld scanners and truck mounted equipment, for voice-recognition, for device and material handling integration, and for RFID.
Wireless Applications
CDC Supply Chain provides radio frequency-based mobile applications that support all processes on the warehouse floor and in the yard. All applications execute based on real-time interaction with the warehouse management system.
Voice Recognition
The voice solution interacts with users on spoken commands from the user, and responds instantly with spoken instructions from the WMS. Lightweight wireless headsets are used and connected via wire or Bluetooth. This means you can always have full attention on what you do — drive, look out, check, lift and move. Some key benefits are:
- Increases performance by working without looking down on papers or screens
- Increases quality by verifying both visually and by the system
- Promotes better and safer working environment
- Multi-lingual in one environment
- Easy to learn and master
- Delivers real-time responses and updates
Device and MHE Integration
CDC Supply Chain supports integration with external automation equipment such as scales, conveyers, cranes, automated picking machines, sorters, carousels and MiniLoad subsystems. The multitude of interface technologies and methods available simplifies the integration process and delivers transaction integrity.
RFID
RFID continues its importance in the supply chain and we have a solution that provides immediate benefits and is able to grow with you and support wide range use of RFID across the extended supply chain. It is an exclusive RFID-enabling technology with an "intelligent subsystem" that provides the benefits of RFID without compromising the performance of SCE applications or limiting the power and benefit of RFID.
The intelligent subsystem handles not only all of the RFID technical and transactional requirements, its embedded business process rules engine ensures that SCE applications are only given RFID information relevant to that application's business processes and are not burdened with RFID transaction management.
