Three new UK customers for CDC Factory in February
ATLANTA,
February 2, 2007—
CDC Software's UK office today announced the acquisition of three new customers for its groundbreaking CDC Factory (CDC Software) product during February. In an excellent month for the provider of Real-Time Performance Management (RPM) software, three leading UK manufacturers were added to an ever-increasing client base, OpSec Security, TSC Foods and Dairy Crest.
OpSec Security based in Washington UK, manufactures a comprehensive range of brand, document and ID authentication products, including laminates, foils and hologram labels. The site is part of a worldwide single-service provider of security, brand protection and anti-fraud solutions. Servicing an ever- increasing global demand for authentication technologies, OpSec has selected CDC Software to help deliver the required increases in production capacity.
TSC Foods Ltd manufactures added-value chilled and frozen food products for major supermarkets and foodservice providers. An innovative and wide-ranging product portfolio includes soups, sauces, dips, dressings and marinades. At its site in Scunthorpe UK, the company will be using CDC Software to support its wide-ranging strategy for Continuous Improvement which is currently limited by a lack of timely and accurate performance data.
Following a £15m investment in its state-of-the-art super-dairy in London, Dairy Crest has selected CDC Software to provide real-time control and improved visibility over an effective doubling of production capacity at the site. Dairy Crest is the UK's leading chilled dairy foods company, with an impressive portfolio that features many brands that hold the no.1 position in their sectors. The CDC Software implementation is expected to deliver a return on investment through significant reductions in costs and wastage.
