Former PeopleSoft EVP of Worldwide Operations joins Pivotal’s Board of Directors

Gwin is an accomplished operational executive with an extensive background in building global technology companies. As executive vice president, worldwide operations at PeopleSoft, he was responsible for directing sales, service and administrative functions. During his six-year career at PeopleSoft, he helped build the company from less than $100 million in revenues to more than $1.4 billion. He played a key role in the acquisition of Vantive; grew European revenues by more than four hundred percent in less than two years; and doubled international revenues within a year.
Gwin subsequently became president and COO of Solect Technology Group, a provider of billing, customer care and service management software (now owned by Amdocs Corporation). Currently, he is a management consultant working with a roster of successful technology companies.
