Korean Success Builds on new Online Marketing Gains in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong

Targeted at Korean teenagers, the email marketing campaign achieved an opening rate ( the percentage of marketing emails opened by the recipient ) of 74% and a click-through rate ( the percentage of recipients who sought further information from the advertiser ) of over 45%.
The campaign was undertaken for Hansol m.com, operated by Hansol PCS, a leading PCS mobile phone operator in Korea. 50,000 emails were sent out to acquire new registered members for a site that, amongst other things, enables users to remotely programme their mobile phone functions as well as providing a short-messaging service direct from computer to mobile phone.
Reinforcing the strength of its pan-Asian presence, 24/7 Media Asia also announced that it has been appointed to exclusively represent MSN's online properties in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia.
