Veterans Join chinadotcom corporation Management Ranks


Hong Kong, December 21, 1999 — chinadotcom corporation (NASDAQ: CHINA), a pan-Asian integrated Internet company providing a full range of solutions that "Build, Distribute, Sell" Internet services, today announced the appointment of two senior executives for its Greater China operations. Mr. Jack Sun was appointed the Director of Operations in China and Mr. Lewis Liu was appointed as Vice President of Business Development in Taiwan.

Mr. Sun has a distinguished background in consumer marketing and media and has previously served as the General Manager of a Star TV joint venture in China. Star TV is a wholly-owned subsidiary of News Corporation. Mr. Sun also has an impressive track record of rising from an analyst to the executive levels at Procter & Gamble.

Mr. Liu has 15 years of corporate experience in media- and interactive services and most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer for China Times Interactive, the interactive arm of one of the largest and most influential newspapers in Taiwan. An authority on the Internet in Taiwan, Mr. Liu is a founding member and chairperson of the Internet Auditing Coalition and the author of The First Step to Internet Advertising, a book that has served as an educational tool covering opportunities on the Internet for many corporate and traditional media executives in Taiwan.
