The Pivotal Anywhere wireless eBRM solution, which operates in conjunction with the BlackBerry™ wireless email solution from Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ: RIMM), is available now from DataLan Corporation - a certified Pivotal Alliance Partner. The Pivotal Anywhere wireless eBRM solution meets the dramatically increasing demand among business users for live access to corporate and Internet information while disconnected from the corporate network.

The escalating demand for wireless business solutions is noted in recent reports from the Yankee Group which indicate that the number of North American mobile data subscribers will triple between 1999 and 2002. This will mean an increase in North American subscribers from 3.38 million to 10.64 million in only three years. A recent report in the Financial Times (U.K.) indicated that significant demand for wireless technology is also apparent outside of North America. The penetration rate for wireless phones in Europe is expected to reach 56 percent by the end of 2000.

The DataLan solution is designed to allow users to easily and quickly access information through an interface that features icons and pull-down menus. Users can select information and post a query to the Pivotal eRelationship database. When requested information is retrieved from the database, the response is sent to the Blackberry Wireless Handheld in email form.
