Pivotal Announces Premier Certification Program for Top eCRM Channel Alliance Members

Austin Data Systems, Burnt Sand Solutions, CTR Business Systems and Resource Solutions, Inc. achieve Pivotal ‘Premier Alliance’ status through rigorous skill certification and customer success


North Vancouver, BC, June 14, 1999 — In recognition of the company’s top channel Alliance Members, Pivotal Corporation, a leading e–customer relationship management (eCRM) vendor for Microsoft® BackOffice® and Internet platforms, today announced the addition of a new Premier Alliance tier in its channel Alliance Program. Pivotal Alliance Members must meet certain customer satisfaction and sales goals in order to achieve Premier Alliance status. Designed to increase the profile of leading Alliance Members and recognize achievement, Premier Alliance Members are entitled to a variety of specialized marketing programs and opportunities, in addition to the regular Pivotal Alliance programs.

New Premier Alliance Members

As part of today’s announcement, four channel Alliance Members were named as initial Premier Alliance Members:

Austin Data Systems (ADS) based in Austin, TX. ADS is focused on deploying mission critical solutions to small and mid-sized companies utilizing Microsoft BackOffice technology;

Qualifications and Benefits

To qualify for Premier Alliance status, solution providers must achieve certification through the Pivotal Certified Alliance Program. This certification is a thorough education and testing program that qualifies third-party service providers to manage all activities necessary for the successful implementation of a Pivotal eRelationship solution. In addition, solution providers must achieve certain customer satisfaction ratings in post-sales and post-implementation customer surveys, and meet established revenue quotas.

Premier Alliance Members are entitled to multiple benefits including Alliance Executive Council membership, training credits and enhanced marketing and co-op credits.
