Combined force of Pivotal, KPMG, Microsoft and Hewlett Packard to ship fully integrated CRM/ERP solution for J.D. Edwards OneWorld and WorldSoftware ERP and supply chain customers
— Enterprise 360, a coalition of best-in-class CRM application, service and hardware suppliers, from Hewlett-Packard, KPMG LLP, Microsoft Corporation and Pivotal Corporation, today announced that it will develop "Enterprise 360 for J.D. Edwards," a pre-packaged solution designed to deliver CRM to companies using J.D. Edwards OneWorld™ and WorldSoftware™ ERP and supply chain solutions.
With limited IT resources and a shortage of in-house CRM to ERP integration expertise, companies today are looking for solutions that mitigate the risks inherent in building and managing an integrated front office and back office solution. Enterprise 360 for J.D. Edwards will include a predictable implementation methodology that maps the processes, timelines and ROI measurements necessary to systematically integrate back office operations with sales, marketing and customer service solutions.
A crucial component to the long-term success of a CRM solution is the ability to leverage back office accounting inventory and logistics systems. Enterprise 360 for J.D. Edwards will leverage Active Software’s ActiveWorks™ Middleware solution to deliver a cost effective, out-of-the-box integration with the OneWorld and WorldSoftware systems.
"Businesses today are interested in reducing the cost and complexity of integrating business applications," said Christopher Fletcher, research director with the Aberdeen Group. "CRM solutions like Enterprise 360 for J.D. Edwards reduce the cost of integration and deployment, lower the risk and complexity of the implementation, and ultimately deliver bottom-line value."
"The Enterprise 360 for J.D. Edwards solution will provide an integrated and comprehensive customer relationship management solution for the more than 5,000 organizations using OneWorld and WorldSoftware from J.D. Edwards," said Bus Fischer, principle partner for KPMG’s J.D. Edwards practice. "The ability for these companies to integrate a CRM solution that leverages their ERP investment represents a major evolution in the way these companies can operate and compete. We’re delighted to contribute our full J.D. Edwards services practice to the Enterprise 360 for J.D. Edwards initiative."
According to Delvin Fletcher, vice president, information systems at Ontario Store Fixtures, "We see tremendous value in creating the ability to look at our entire business from customer relationships all the way through to our manufacturing and fulfillment processes. Integrating Pivotal, the foundation in Enterprise 360, with J.D. Edwards OneWorld has the potential to significantly improve our customer management cost structure while maintaining our traditional focus on personalized attention."
