'Winning on Windows' top Independent Software Vendor (ISV) ranking recognizes Pivotal’s outstanding growth, innovation and market opportunity
— Pivotal Corporation announced today that it has been named the fastest-growing customer relationship management (CRM) ISV. Based on research conducted by Reality Research, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of CMP Media) and sponsored by Microsoft Corp. and Information Week, Pivotal joins other fast-growth ISVs in the first ever "Winning on Windows" ranking of the top 75 fastest growing software companies for Windows in North America.
The Pivotal 360° CRM product family provides the most robust and comprehensive CRM solution for Microsoft® BackOffice® and Internet platforms. This enables business-to-business enterprises around the world to leverage the power of cutting edge Internet, database and mobile technologies to automate and unify all the processes that involve interacting with customers and managing ongoing relationships with them. The product family includes Pivotal eRelationship™ application suite, designed to transform Web sites into Internet Relationship Hubs™ for partner collaboration and customer relationship management over the Internet, and Pivotal Relationship® 99/SQL7 application suite, designed to unify and automate internal sales, marketing and service operations.
"Since its founding, Pivotal Corporation has consistently provided the leading customer management solutions for the Microsoft BackOffice platform," said Tod Nielsen, vice president, developer marketing for Microsoft. "It comes as no surprise that Pivotal ranks among the fastest-growing ISVs for Windows."
Pivotal was selected from a pool of more than 10,000 ISVs and honored for its top "Winning on Windows" ranking last evening at a reception in Chicago at the Spring Comdex/Windows World Show. Companies were ranked and selected based on highest percentage revenue growth between 1997 and 1998. The Winning on Windows, ISV 75 will be featured in this week’s issue of InformationWeek and also highlighted on Microsoft’s Web site at msdnisv.microsoft.com/msdnisv/winning/
"Pivotal’s focus on the Windows platform has given us tremendous opportunities for growth and innovation. It has also aligned Pivotal with a company that appreciates its ISVs and has delivered excellent support in building our business," said Norm Francis, president and chief executive officer of Pivotal Corporation. "It is an honor to be recognized by Microsoft in the inaugural 'Winning on Windows' ranking."
