Peter Yip

Chief Executive Officer, Director, CDC Software
CEO of CDC Software Peter Yip

Mr. Yip is CEO of CDC Software. Prior to CDC Software, Mr. Yip co-founded Yipkon Business Systems with his Indian partner from Bangalore, Kumar Konanur. Yipkon, as one of the first Indian outsourcing companies based in New York, pioneered outsourcing for U.S. companies using Indian resources from Bangalore and successfully grew to (U.S.) $100 million in revenue. Mr. Yip previously held management positions at KPMG Consulting and Wharton Applied Research.

Mr. Yip is a frequent speaker at various international conferences including Fortune CEO Global Forum, World Economics Forum, Forbes CEO Forum, United Nations Conference on Science & Technology, and the Nikkei International Conference. He has authored research papers published by Harvard Asia Pacific Review, Nanjing University Press, and the National Science Foundation. He recently co-authored a chapter in a book titled The China's Century with former Chinese Premier Zhu Yongji, amongst others. In 2010, Mr. Yip was awarded the prestigious award: "China's Top 10 Economic Figures," by the Organization Committee of the Top 10 Talents of Chinese Economy. In 2000, the Wharton School presented Mr. Yip with the Asian Alumni Entrepreneur award.

Mr. Yip received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his MSEE and BSEE from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Yip also received an associate degree in Engineering and an honorary doctorate degree in Business from Vincennes University, Indiana.

Raymond K.F. Ch'ien

Chairman, Member of the Audit Committee CDC Software

Raymond K.F. Ch'ien has served as chairman of the CDC Software board since January 1999, and served as executive chairman of the board from April 2001 until August 2005 at which point he became chairman of our board. He is a member of the audit committee on the Board of Directors. He served as acting chief executive officer between March 2004 and March 2005, and chief executive officer from March 2005 until August 2005. Dr. Ch'ien is chairman and a member of the executive and remuneration committees of our Hong Kong listed subsidiary, China.com Inc. Dr. Ch'ien is also chairman of MTR Corporation Limited and Hang Seng Bank Limited. Dr. Ch'ien serves on the boards of Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Swiss Reinsurance Company Limited, Convenience Retail Asia Limited, Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange Limited, China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited and The Wharf (Holdings) Limited. Dr. Ch'ien received a doctoral degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978 and became a Trustee of the University in 2006. He was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1993 and a Commander in the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in 1994. In 1999, he was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star medal. In August 2008, Dr. Ch’ien was conferred the honour of Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole of France.

Chung Kiu Wong

Interim Acting CEO, and a Director of CDC Software

Chung Kiu Wong is serving as interim CEO of CDC Software and a member of the board of directors. Mr. Wong was appointed to the CDC Software board in March 2007. He previously served as CEO for CDC Global Services, a business unit of CDC Corporation. Mr. Wong was founder and managing principal of iASPEC, a group of companies that provide information technology consulting services, software products and services in Hong Kong, China and North America. iASPEC was established in 1988 and continues to maintain its headquarters in Hong Kong. Mr. Wong obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California. He served as the principal architect in a State of California government data centre from 1975 to 1981 and received the Distinguished Services Award from the State of California in 1979. Mr. Wong returned to China in 1982 and has held senior positions in international information technology companies in China and in Hong Kong. Mr. Wong is a Distinguished Fellow of the Hong Kong Computer Society. He is also a member of the University Grants Committee and a member of the Advisory Committee on Creative Industry of the Central Policy Unit in the Hong Kong SAR Government. Mr. Wong serves as a member in the Advisory Committees of various engineering faculties and information technology academic departments in the local universities and those in China.

Wong Sin Just

Independent Director, CDC Software

Wong Sin Just was appointed to the CDC Software board in February 2007. He has served as an independent non-executive director of China.com Inc., an affiliated company, since November 1999. Mr. Wong has more than 15 years of investment banking and venture capital experience. He is non-executive Chairman of Westminster Travel Ltd. Previously, he was vice chairman of China Renji Medical Group, Ltd, Executive Co-Chairman of E2-Capital (Holdings) Limited, Managing Director and Head of Asian Equity Capital Markets for BNP Prime Peregrine Securities Ltd. And a Director and Head of Greater China Equity Capital Markets for ABN AMRO Asia Corporate Finance Ltd.

He holds a bachelor of engineering degree from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London and was qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales.

Frank K. Au

Independent Director, Chairman of the Audit Committee, CDC Software

Frank K. Au is an independent board director and chairman of the Audit Committee of CDC Software, as well as a director for CDC Games. Mr. Au is the CEO of Cowen Latitude Asia, the wholly-owned Asia subsidiary of Cowen Group, which has offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai . Mr. Au is responsible for leading all aspects of Cowen's businesses in Asia including capital markets, M&A and private placements. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Cowen Latitude Asia, Mr. Au was the President and co-founder of Latitude Capital Group, which was acquired by Cowen Group in 2008. He is based in the Firm's Hong Kong office and currently focuses on covering the alternative energy, consumer, health care, industrial, media and technology sectors in Asia.

Previously, Mr. Au was the Head of Media investing banking in Greater China for Lehman Brothers Asia. Mr. Au has extensive investment banking experience across all areas of corporate finance including equity and debt capital raising, as well as mergers and acquisition advisory having worked in both Lehman's New York and Hong Kong offices in the Technology, Telecom and Industrial/LBO Groups.

Mr. Au holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics/East Asian Studies from Columbia University.

Stephen Dexter

Chief Financial Officer, CDC Software

Mr. Dexter is chief financial officer (CFO) of CDC Software. Prior to this role, he served as chief accounting officer at CDC Software. Mr. Dexter brings 20 years of domestic and international accounting and finance experience to the company. Recently, he served as vice president, corporate controller and principal accounting officer, for S1 Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed global financial services provider. He also has held a variety of financial management positions for Mynd Corp, formerly Policy Management Systems, Corp., a $600 million provider of insurance software, Safety-Kleen Corp., a more than $1 billion international environmental services company and American Tire Distributors Holdings, the largest tire distributor in the U.S. with more than $1 billion in revenue. A certified public accountant (CPA), Dexter holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Clemson University.

Monish Bahl

Senior Vice President, Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions, CDC Corporation

Mr. Bahl is responsible for all the company’s mergers and acquisition activities. He has held a variety of management roles at CDC Corporation including Vice President of Investor Relations where he communicated the company’s financial and other relevant information to shareholders and the financial community. He has held a variety of management positions with publicly traded companies and has extensive experience with Wall Street.

Prior to joining CDC Software, he served as Vice President, Investor Relations of Verso Technologies, a next generation telecommunications equipment provider in Atlanta. In this role, he communicated the company's strategy to the investment community, was involved in two equity capital raises, as well as mergers and acquisitions activity. Earlier, he was one of the founding members of HarborPayments, an e-commerce financial services company that was later sold to American Express Corporation. Prior to HarborPayments, he worked as Assistant Vice President for Parker/Hunter, a sell-side brokerage house later sold to Janney Montgomery. In that capacity, he served as a senior equity analyst covering technology stocks such as Computer Associates, Ansys and others. He was also involved in five public equity offerings. He holds a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor of science from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA.

Les Viszlai

CIO, CDC Software

 Les Viszlai is Chief Information Officer (CIO) of CDC Software. Mr. Viszlai is a global senior executive with extensive technology, leadership, management and consulting experience. Mr. Viszlai brings his experience in Governance, Data Center operations, Marketing technologies, Operational IT/Business integration via M&A, SaaS/Cloud Computing, and Corporate Real Estate Facilities management to CDC Software.

Prior to Joining CDC Software, he has served in various management and Information technology roles with companies that included General Electric’s Energy Services Engineering division, Accenture, Cap Gemini Americas and various Software development and Consulting companies.

Mr Viszlai holds a B.S. Degree in Information Technology Systems & design and has studied Project Management at Harvard.

Chris Wolfe

Senior Vice President, Acquisitions and Integrations, CDC Software
Chris Wolfe

Mr. Wolfe is Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Integrations. For the past two years, he has been responsible for helping the M&A team evaluate prospective targets and then leading the overall integration of acquired companies into CDC Software’s business. Mr. Wolfe also serves as Chief Operating Officer for several of CDC Software’s business units such as CDC eCommerce, CDC Tradebeam and c360.

Since 2004, Mr. Wolfe has served in several key leadership roles within CDC Software. He most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of c360, which supplies add-on products, solutions and development tools for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform. Mr. Wolfe also spent more than five years in CDC Software’s Professional Services organization serving in a number of different leadership roles, including Vice President of Technical Services where he managed the Services operations for the ERP and CRM product lines across North America, India and China. Prior to joining CDC Software, Mr. Wolfe served as Director of Sales & Professional Services for Software Works. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Clemson University.

Mark Sutcliffe

President, CDC Factory

Mark Sutcliffe is president of CDC Factory, a packaged manufacturing operations management solution.

Sutcliffe is an acknowledged authority on continuous improvement and change management practices, centered on technology. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences in Europe and the U.S. on the subject of deploying technology to leverage “human capital” and achieve “breakthrough performance” across the whole enterprise.

After an outstanding career in enterprise software sales, Mark formed MVI technology in 1991 to provide leading-edge improvement technology to the food & beverage manufacturing sector. In the fourth quarter of 2006, MVI was acquired by CDC Software and the product line has posted consistent record sales quarters.

Jason Rushforth

President of CDC Front Office

Jason Rushforth is Senior Vice President, North American Sales, worldwide Marketing and Strategic alliance and President of CDC Front Office business for CDC Software. He is responsible for North American CRM Sales, worldwide marketing and its Strategic Alliances channel sales program, as well as the operations for the Front Office product business.. Previously, Mr. Rushforth was CDC Software's Global Vice President of Financial Services, responsible for the long-term global strategy of the financial services vertical of the company's Front Office solutions, which include Pivotal CRM, CDC Respond, CDC MarketFirst, and Saratoga CRM. Since 2000, Mr. Rushforth has played an instrumental role in the growth of the CDC Software's Front Office products. His deep industry knowledge has guided the company in the development of industry-specific tools for institutional asset management, mutual fund wholesaling, wealth management, capital markets, and commercial banking. As a visionary expert in the application market, especially in the CRM segment, Mr. Rushforth is known for his keynote speaking engagements for such events as the Wealth Management Forum and feature webcasts with Wall Street & Technology and TowerGroup, and he frequently contributes to industry articles in publications such as CRM Magazine, Financial Services Technology, CRM Advocate, Windows in Financial Services, and Commercial Lending Review.

Paul Plaia III

Paul Plaia III

Mr. Plaia is President of CDC gomembers, CDC Software’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) enterprise applications business that specializes in the non-profit and government markets. 

Plaia holds more than 20 years of management experience in finance, accounting and Information Technology.  He’s a seasoned entrepreneur who founded gomembers in 1996 where he served as President and CEO of the company.  Under his leadership, the company grew dramatically and was eventually sold to CDC Software in 2009.   Prior to founding gomembers, Mr. Plaia was Treasurer of Orange Technologies, a software company based in the Washington D.C. area, and was founder and Managing Partner of Plaia & Company, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants. Mr. Plaia began his professional career with Grant Thornton, an international assurance and management consulting firm. His tenure at Grant Thornton lasted six years working in the New York, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. offices.

He is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s in Accounting and Information Technology from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.

Niklas Rönnbäck

Senior Vice President and President, CDC Supply Chain Europe

Niklas Rönnbäck is Senior Vice President and President, CDC Supply Chain, Europe. He is responsible for the CDC Software product sales throughout Europe’s Nordic region.

Since 1997, he has served in a variety of management roles at CDC Software including Vice President, Operations at CDC Supply Chain and Senior Vice President, Services responsible for all customer service, across all product lines in EMEA.

Mr. Rönnbäck brings more than 15 years of enterprise software experience, specifically in the implementation of ERP, order management and warehouse management systems. Earlier, he was President at Öhrwall & Rönnbäck, a privately held logistics and supply chain firm.

Paul Elswood

Managing Director U.K., Ireland and Benelux, President of CDC Respond
Paul Elswood

Paul Elswood has served as Managing Director, United Kingdom and Ireland for CDC Software International since January 2009 and is President of CDC Respond, the company’s enterprise complaint management and feedback management business. Mr. Elswood is responsible for CDC Respond’s global business  and the operational activities in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Prior to this role Mr. Elswood served as Vice President, EMEA, for the CDC Respond business of CDC Software with responsibility for all client facing activities. Mr. Elswood joined CDC Software in February 2007 as Vice President, Services for EMEA, within the CDC Respond business of CDC Software. Mr. Elswood brings more than 17 years of enterprise software experience across many industry verticals including, Financial Services, Government, Healthcare, Retail and Fast Moving Consumer Goods. Prior to joining CDC Software, he worked within Oracle’s Retail Global Business Unit from November 2005 to January 2007 and Accenture from November 1992 to October 2004. Mr. Elswood holds a Bachelor degree of engineering from the University of Birmingham, U.K.

Thomas Zanzinger

Managing Director, DACH, CDC Software

Thomas Zanzinger is Managing Director, DACH (Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz) for CDC Software. Mr. Zanzinger is responsible for managing the operations of CDC Software’s Germany, Austria and Switzerland regions. He brings more than 20 years of experience in successfully building and driving international business via direct and indirect sales channels. Earlier in his career, Mr. Zanzinger worked at DELL Computer, where he helped implement this leading PC company’s well-known direct marketing concept in Germany. Previously, he held a variety of management roles at Novell including managing their midmarket division in Germany. At Mitsubishi Electric, he served as Director and General Manager for the company’s PC business unit in Germany. He also was responsible for building the channel and direct sales operations of Software AG where he served as Vice President and General Manager. Previously, he built the international business from scratch for datango AG where he also achieved significant growth. Most recently, Mr. Zanzinger managed international sales for Attensity Group where he built their international business and achieved significant client wins in global blue chip accounts. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Berufsakademie Stuttgart.

Nicolas Cron

Managing Director, CDC Software France and Vice President, Southern Europe

Nicolas Cron is Managing Director of CDC Software France and Vice President for Southern Europe. As such, he brings his strong experience in the fields of CRM, high-tech sales and Management, to manage the operation of CDC Software’s French subsidiary and coordinates activities in the Southern Europe territory.

Before joining CDC Software, Nicolas Cron was Country Manager for France at Torex, a company selling enterprise software for retail, food outlets, petrol stations shops and fast food restaurants. Nicolas Cron started his career in 1984 at Groupe Danone where he spent 12 years in various sales roles before taking on the responsibility of the CRM activities for the group. Other roles include the Bongrain group as Key Account Manager; European Sales Manager for Dendrite, a company specialised in CRM software development; Managing Director France and North Africa at SSA Global, a company specialising in enterprise solutions – ERP, SCM, BI, CRM; and Kobeo, a company Nicolas founded, specialising in the development and implementation of vertical enterprise solutions.

Nicolas Cron received an Executive MBA from Liverpool University in the United Kingdom.

Nagaraja Prakasam

Managing Director, South and Southeast Asia and CDC Software India
Nagaraja Prakasam

Nagaraja Prakasam is Managing Director, South and Southeast Asia, as well as for CDC Software India.    In these capacities, Mr. Prakasam is responsible for sales in the South and Southeast Asia region, as well as overseeing the company’s Bangalore development center. Previously, he was Senior Director of India Operations from June 2006 until December 2006. Mr. Prakasam joined Ross Systems in September 1997, prior to the acquisition of Ross by CDC Software, and has more than 18 years of experience in product development, sales and managing offshore research and development, services, IT and support operations for enterprise software companies. Mr. Prakasam holds a B.E. degree from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, India and an MBA degree from Kennesaw State University, USA.

William Green

President, CDC Software Enterprise

William Green leads CDC Software Enterprise, a portfolio that includes CDC Supply Chain, CDC TradeBeam, and CDC e-commerce solutions. In this role, Mr. Green is responsible for managing business relationships, operations, and customer satisfaction activities. Previously, Mr. Green was Vice President of Enterprise Sales, where he was responsible for the sales and operations of the company’s ERP applications for Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Chemicals and other key process manufacturing verticals Mr. Green has more than 15 years of experience in technology solution selling, sales management, regional general management, and global management. Since joining the company in 2001, Mr. Green has held several other senior leadership positions throughout the organization. He also worked with the Front Office sales team through building and maintaining relationships with large enterprise organizations that use Pivotal CRM, MarketFirst and Saratoga CRM.

Prior to CDC Software, he served as the Vice President of Sales for Cube Route, provider of on demand Logistics Services. He also worked for Delano Technologies which offers supply chain and customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities, as well as i2 Technologies, a supply chain software solutions provider; and, Xerox Corporation.

Sherri Rodriguez

President Ross Systems

Sherri Rodriguez is President of CDC Software’s Ross Systems. In this role, Ms. Rodriguez is responsible for the sales and operations of the company's ERP applications for Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Chemicals and other key process manufacturing verticals. Ms. Rodriguez has more than 15 years of experience in technology solution selling, sales management, and regional account management. Since joining the company in 2003, Ms. Rodriguez has held several other positions throughout the organization including Director of Sales and Senior Account Management and Team Lead.

Prior to CDC Software, she served more than six years at Computer Associates in various roles selling ERP, Supply Chain, and business intelligence tools. She also worked in IT management and Sales roles at Cray Systems Autofile. She obtained her initial manufacturing industry experience while working more than four years in a Textron automobile manufacturing parts facility.

Brian Holder

General Manager, Australian and New Zealand Operations

Brian Holder

Brian Holder is general manager for the Australian and New Zealand operations of the company. Mr. Holder brings nearly 20 years of experience working at Microsoft Corporation in a variety of management roles, recently as sales director for Microsoft Dynamics in Australia. Prior to joining CDC Software, Mr. Holder drove the business development activities in Microsoft’s Corporate Online Services business in Australia including management of direct sales and partnerships. Earlier, he served in various management and engineering roles with companies that included NEC Australia, Hewlett-Packard Australia and ICL U.K. and Australia.

Donald L. Novajosky

Vice President, General Counsel

Donald L. Novajosky is Vice President and General Counsel for CDC Software.  He also serves as Associate General Counsel of CDC Corporation.   Mr. Novajosky joined CDC Corporation as Corporate Counsel in November 2006. From 2005 to 2006, Mr. Novajosky held positions with the law firms of Reed Smith LLP and Hutchison Law Group PLLC, where his practice focused on general corporate, securities, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters. From June 2003 to July 2005, Mr. Novajosky was the Director, Legal of Cytogen Corporation, a publicly-traded biopharmaceutical company in Princeton, New Jersey. Prior to that, Mr. Novajosky held positions with the law firms of Hale and Dorr LLP (now Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr) and Buchanan Ingersoll Rooney PC. Mr. Novajosky received a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from New York Law School, where he was a member, editor and published author of the New York Law School Law Review. Mr. Novajosky also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.

Sean Yu

Vice President, CDC Software and Chairman, CDC Software (China)

Sean Yu, Vice President for Development of CDC Software and Chairman of CDC Software (China), is responsible for establishing, expanding and managing the company's China operations. Under his leadership, CDC Software's offshore capability in China has grown from scratch to account for more than one-third of the global product workforce within three years. To accelerate CDC Software's rapid growth in China, he also identifies and examines acquisition targets, conducts due diligence analysis, explores IPO opportunities in the domestic capital markets, and serves as board members on the company's joint ventures to ensure their continuing success.

Before joining CDC Software, Mr. Yu held senior positions in the field of supply chain management. Creative solutions developed under his leadership are supporting a number of globally-known companies and optimizing their supply chain and transportation networks.

Earlier in his career, he worked at the Harvard Institute for International Development conducting economic and investment analysis for international and government institutions such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Mr. Yu is a Harvard Business School graduate. He also holds an M.S. in operations research and M.A. in urban planning from Harvard University. Before going to Harvard, he graduated from China’s Peking University with an M.S. degree.

Hilton Law

Managing Director, China and Southeast Asia, CDC Software

Hilton Law is Managing Director of China and Asia/Pacific for CDC Software. He is responsible for channel partner development, strategic planning, corporate development and management of the company in Greater China and its Southeast Asia operations. Mr. Law also is CEO of Integrated Solutions Ltd., a business unit of CDC Software.  

With more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, Mr. Law has served in a variety of senior management roles throughout China and Asia/Pacific.  Previously, he was General Manager of SOLAR Inc. Limited, the joint venture of PCCW Limited and Computer Associates International, Inc. At, SOLAR, Hilton successfully developed and brought into the market a series of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, which included Finance Solution, Human Resources and MPF Solution for the small and medium-size enterprise (SME) market that resulted in a solid customer base being formed immediately. Mr. Law serves as a Council member of the Information and Software Industry Association.

Edmund Lau

Senior Vice President, Greater China, CDC Software

Edmund Lau is senior vice president, Greater China. He is responsible for sales, services and business development in Greater China (Hong Kong, Taiwan and China).

With more than 20 years of senior management experience, Lau has earned a formidable reputation for his track record in transforming and growing established and start-up businesses while building solid relationships with customers. Most recently, he served as president of Viador, Inc., a leading provider of web-based Business Intelligence (BI) solutions based in Northern Califiornia, US. There, he also served in senior sales positions that included vice president of worldwide sales and vice president of international sales, where he expanded company sales in Europe and Asia Pacific, especially the Greater China area.  Under the leadership of Lau, Viador sales increased dramatically in Greater China through direct sales and strategic OEM partnerships with China-based vertical market-focused ISVs (Independent Software Vendors). Lau also established Viador’s new outsourcing operation in that country.  Earlier, Lau served as general manager of China/Hong Kong region for Hamilton/Brighton Technology Ltd., a U.S.-based IT company.  Prior to that, he served in a variety of technical management positions for California-based IT companies.
